Educational background	I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in education from SIU-E in 1994. I also earned my Master's degree plus 32 additional hours in education from SIU-E and have Gifted Education certification.

	Teaching experience	This is my 18th year teaching in the Collinsville School District.  (5 years in first grade and 13 years in second grade.)
	What I enjoy most about teaching...	I love the feeling I get when a student has an "AHA!" moment.  The excitement of learning something new (from my students, too) never fades!
