Spelling

Vocabulary

     Please listen to your child read
     aloud every day. Children should
     read for at least 15-20 minutes.
     2 books should be recorded in the       Planner each week.
     Students should write all words
     missed from the pretest 2 times each
     every day on the Spelling Homework
     Paper.
     Also check out, SpellingCity.com !		      Read by sight and study all the word    
     meanings for the test on Friday.
     The test will be multiple choice &
     fill-in-the-blank.
     Library books are due back each
     Thursday.

     2 books per week to earn a Pasta House meal & Pizza Hut pizza (begins in October)

 Science and
Social Science
     Students should try to write for
     enjoyment each day. This might include
     a diary, journal, story, comic, list,
     recipe, etc.		      EveryDay Math HOME LINK and
     Practice Math facts to 18 for
     addition and subtraction (flashcards).		      Watch for special projects!
