Internet Safety! Students Kindergarten-4th grade will be educated on how to be safe on-line. Faux Paw is used for Kindergarten-2nd graders. Students will be taught to understand what "personal information" is, and the importance of telling a trusted adult when they see something on the Internet that makes them feel uneasy or uncomfortable. 3rd and 4th grade students will be made aware of how to be safer while on the Internet. One of the resources they will use will be the characters used at www.netsmart.org.
The classroom teacher, social worker, along with the computer support specialist work together on this project. |
