Operation:  Support the Troops

The community service committee is trying to raise funds and collect items for the troops stationed in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Members will also be writing letters of appreciation and encouragement to the troops which will be sent with mixed CDs of recent hits.  Members are asked to:

• Donate $5 (or however  much they can afford)

• Donate items (list will be available by next Student Council meeting)

• Donate blank CDs

• Come to community service meetings to write the letters/burn the CDs for the troops

• Anything brought in for this project can be dropped off in rooms 302 or 120

Adopt Krietner  School for Christmas

Student Council, like every year, is collecting 200 presents for the students of Krietner Elementary School.  Members are asked to bring in wrapped gifts labeled either 'girl' or 'boy' to rooms 302 or 120. The date that the presents will be delivered to the elementary school is still pending.

Please help us reach our goal so that we can give the children of Krietner another great Christmas!
