The band is under the direction of Mr. Michael Alexander.  This 80 piece band is made up of 7^th and 8^th graders.  They perform 4 formal concerts a year, 2 local parades, participate in IMEA auditions, Solo and Ensemble Contests, and District and State Organizational Contests.  They also participate in local promotions and are considered one of the top Jr. High bands in Southern Illinois and the Metro area.
