April Poetry Club

During National Poetry Month in April, the English department has organized the first annual CMS POETRY CLUB. Four meetings are planned: April 7, 15, 22, and 27.

At the first meeting, members will gather in the library to make a video with Mr. Hayman as they read their favorite poems. At our second meeting, we'll watch "The Dead Poets' Society" movie, starring Robin Williams. Our final two meetings will involve the selection of the winner from the school's first poetry contest. We'll also gather our poems to publish on the school's website and in the school's monthly newspaper.
